From the well laid out, level spots, to the clean facilities and great lake this is one of many of West Virginias hidden gems. The only thing better than this campground were the kind, caring, quiet campers and staff. We plan on making this a regular spot for us!
We had a great weekend camping. The only detractor from 5 stars were the lake folks messing up the bathrooms up front.
Nice cheap off the grid campground. There is no cell service so you can truly let go of all worldly cares. These are primitive sites and the sites are divided by trees.
This campground is a hidden gem. So clean and well maintained. The restrooms
Are clean and they had hot shower as well. Overall it’s a really well maintained campground with a recreation area. We came with kids and they loved it 👍 the host was super friendly and helpful
We were at the lake hanging with our friends and their kids. We had a blast just floating on our tubes, goofing off, and picnicking! Highly recommend. Only issue we found was the bathrooms at the entrance of the campground had been trashed by the beach goers so they were going to make them off limits to anyone who isn't a camper. So ridiculous how people mess up things that they are using and the rest of us want to use too! Sad!
