Beautiful state park, only five dollars for the entrance fee. Has nice walking trails picnic areas marina campground, golf course and cabins. Found some beautiful and rare mushrooms while hiking ☺️. Very scenic and clean.

My family and I were there a few years ago, and really enjoyed it. The accommodations znd rates are reasonable. My family is going again in March 2024 but the distance is too far for me (6 hrs from Michigan to the resort).

I visited to grab a bite to eat, site see, and hike. My waitress was Jasmine a super helpful and sweet woman had a great time talking with her. She helped me out with a few questions I had about the lake, and kayaking. Had an amazing breakfast and experience as I made a new friend along the way. Can't wait to go back and try out the lake this summer!

Beautiful location and scenery!!! The staff was amazing and the main facility worked hard at integrating the outdoors to the inside for the natural feel of being surrounded by nature. The bathrooms in the rooms could use a little updating, but the main rooms were clean and very cozy.

This year my family broke all traditions and stayed in a cottage on the lake for Christmas. I cannot express how much fun we all had. We decorated the cottage, ate at Stillwater’s, cooked our own family favorites, made crafts, watched all the movie classics, and enjoyed the spa and pool in the lodge. It was intimate and also allowed for a wonderful Christmas Eve brunch with my husband’s family. I wish every Christmas could be as magical.
