Awesome recreation area. Wild horses and fresh water. Sooo many species of riparian birds! Highly recommend!
Absolutely gorgeous area along the lower Salt River to relax, enjoy nature, and spalah in the water. Bring plenty of sunscreen, good shoes to walk in, and lots of water! Don't forget a trash bag to clean up after yourself, and maybe even other before you, and don't forget your phone to capture the fun memories and beautiful scenery.
Nice place to look around. Not a very long trail right along the salt river and plenty of parking on weekdays.
Did the lower salt River loop. Very easy and scenic. Good one for the family. Not stroller friendly though and watch out for the horse droppings
