About Campground

Take in breathtaking mountain views and natural desert beauty at Blue Star, our premiere 55+ RV community in Apache Junction, Arizona. Our fabulous location near Phoenix and Mesa in the East Valley thrives with western heritage and legend.

Blue Star provides more than 100 gorgeous full hookup RV sites featuring gravel pads and concrete patios on our beautifully landscaped grounds. We also offer a great selection of modern amenities like a swimming pool area, a clubhouse that includes a stage with raised seating for special events, and an outdoor patio area with two community fire pits.

There are also plenty of attractions in the area. Play a round of golf at one of the championship courses nearby, attend a sporting event, spend some time at a casino, and experience the great outdoors at the Lost Dutchman State Park or Tonto National Forest.

My mom and dad got a place here about 18 years ago and they have had a great time being here for the winters (Iowa isn’t a place you want to spend the winter). After my dad passed away 2 years ago, I’ve been helping my mom get settled in every fall and closing up in the spring. The facilities are great, her neighbors are friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet but fun place to be to escape a cold climate, this is a great spot.
