It is a quiet, clean and affordable mobile home park right along the canal, but doesn't permit access to the developed path (paved with lights) for walking or riding bikes along the canal. There is a gate to the path, it ALWAYS remains locked, giving its tenants less amenities to enjoy. It is a a a senior community, so I am sure many residents would enjoy using the path for general exercise. So for that reason it receives only 4 stars from me.

Glenhaven is very well kept. The bathrooms & laundry rooms were spotless. The pool was sparkling clean & cool even though it was about 115° each day we were there. Ann in the office was wonderful & easy to work with. The people that we met in the community were friendly as well. Wifi is only available in the activities room when staying short term. We stayed 9 nights here. We’ll definitely stay again when it’s substantially cooler outside.

Dirty, old plumbing, water lines are close to the surface and tend to rupture or freeze, and sewer dumps leak. Most mobile homes are run down and very old. They tore down 1, and the trash pile leftovers is where I think we got 2 rats from. The electric rates are higher than most places. Go somewhere else. The care taker Ann is a really nice person and does all she can for customers with the resources she is given by corporate. So this is by NO means a negative reflection on her; she does all she can for clients.

This is our 3rd time staying here. We really like the location. Glenhaven is small but run very well. If you're very social there's things to do while if you like a quiet time you have that too. Very close to hiking and biking trail that goes all along the area. We have never had any complaints here. Thank you.
