UPDATE: I complained to the park about how I was treated, I complained to the membership group I belong to about how I was treated AND I left them this bad review.

Care to guess how many times I was contacted to apologize for their lying clerk? NONE! NOT ONE PERSON IN MANAGEMENT EVER REACHED OUT TO APOLGIZE.

I should also add that the only difference between me checking in and my mom checking in is that I checked in with my child by my side. It was obvious this old, cranky person at the front desk didn't want children in what she considered to be HER park.

I will also add that I have 6 children, 5 I believe were still traveling with me when we stopped here. We visited the pool one day and I require my children to behave. We have rules if other people are in the pool and I enforce those rules so as not to bother other swimmers. My children are not allowed to scream nor splash if there are older people present. If there are more children and the kids want to play a game, I define an area of play they should not cross with their game so they aren't swimming around the older folks.

While there an older person came over to me and told me that she appreciated the rules I had for my children and that I supervised them and enforced the rules.

So that cranky person at the front desk JUDGED me as a bad parent and tried to prevent me from staying in a park that I am allowed to stay in for free.

Now...here's the original review:

The park was nice enough for Arizona but the person in the office was not very nice. We had a reservation. Our name was on the door when we arrived. When I gave her my name she told me I didn't have a reservation. My membership allows me to stay at this park for free. She tried to charge me over $100 claiming I had no reservation. I showed her three emails: my reservation, and two between me and the park when my reservation was changed due to a change in membership number. She still kept trying to charge me even with the emails showing that I owed $0.00. She kept saying we had no reservation and yet she also said that my mother had already arrived and she parked her near where were were going to park. How could she know we were arriving if we didn't have a reservation? Why was our name on the door if I didn't have a reservation? Why did I have three emails saying I had a reservation if I didn't have a reservation. Finally, she said that the membership group never pays them. AHA...finally the truth. She wanted to ensure her payment and charge us rather than straightening out her issue with our membership company. I don't like people who lie and try to deceive you. We probably won't go back.

This is my third stay here in a year. There is no trees for shade but have nice wide spaces and gravel parking throughout. Sunrise and sunsets are always amazing. It is a KOA so it's pet friendly very nice people always busy keeping everything clean and orderly. A lot of improvements have been done to the laundry, meeting house and cementing of several areas. The large fruit trees have been pruned giving a nice look to this park. Christmas lights up and down the street gives an invite for an evening stroll.
