We had a little trouble getting in to our site due to it being a steep approach and I snagged a mid jack and bent it. But most of the other sites looked great. It was aptly named, with fantastic shade trees right on the Guadalupe River. We got invited to a free Thanksgiving dinner which was wonderful. This would be a great spot for an extended stay.
Nice rv park on the river. Very quiet and secluded. We will return when in the area.
This is a small park right on the Guadalupe River just south of Seguin. It has about 90% of the sites with full-time rvers, so it looks quite different than your normal RV park that has a lot more short-term renters. The location is great, and it is a full service park, which was nice and pulled through sites. The bathrooms could use a little more upkeep, but I suspect because the park is mostly full-timers who use their own coach facilities that that's why it gets overlooked. Pricing was good and overall an okay place to stay as there aren't many open short-term rentals available around Seguin. There is no Wi-Fi and they do provide cable channels but I recommend you bring a female to female adapter as I was not able to connect without one. T-Mobile 5G is really strong at this park so I didn't need to use their cable as we were able to stream off of our hotspot.
Lived there about 18 years ago, very nice place, shower rooms, laundry facilities, propane refill available.
We parked our trailer here to do winter maintenance and check out the venue. Beautiful trees and river location. Hook ups worked great. Pull through lots available. Neighbors were all quiet and friendly. And the office staff were very kind and helpful in our situation. Thank you for having us and we look forward to visiting again!
