Very pleased with this campground. Super clean including the washrooms. Owners very accommodating and very helpful with directions. Go to website and sign in, helps get in touch with owners to help find the place. Google maps not helpful with this. We did just put in Joe St. and not the campground name. It’s on the right side. We had a super long ride, so it was so helpful of the owners to leave us our site number outside after they closed the office. And we pay the next day. Very quiet and respectful place. Will definitely stay again if we come this way again. And not to mention Sheridan is a beautiful town.
This is a well set up, well maintained RV Park. Everything is gravel and grass, and level. Full hookups, and very reasonably priced. Peter gives you plenty of information on places to see and eat as well. The laundry and bathhouse are immaculate, as well as the rest of the park. Our only complaint is that some of the sites, such as ours are very narrow. Had someone stayed in the spot next to us we would not have been able to put our awning out to accommodate the slides of our neighbors.
Why can’t all RV parks be like Peter D’s? The owners are super friendly and helpful. The park is laid out really well. Easy to maneuver through with decent sized campsites. The grounds are very well taken care of. Lots of grass that is kept mowed and in excellent health. Roads and RV pads are all graveled so never any mud. Although close to town and the interstate (easy access!), it is very quiet. Prices are extremely reasonable. On top of the RV Park being great, Sheridan is a really nice town. Fun breweries, good restaurants, and an awesome trail (Soldiers Ridge) nearby. Couldn’t ask for anything more! We will definitely be back someday. I can think of many other RV parks I’ve stayed at that could learn a lot about running a quality RV park from these guys!
We spent one night at this location in our 38-foot Class A motorhome, accompanied by our two dogs and with a tow vehicle. We arrived late and departed early since we were just in transit to another destination. The process for checking in after hours was seamless and expedient. We greatly appreciated the well-maintained grass and the size of the dog park, as it allowed our dogs to expend some energy before we resumed our journey without getting filthy in mud/dirt. Our stay was in mid-August, and the grass at each site was lush and well-maintained.
Peter D’s is a wonderful RV Park!! Peter is the nicest guy you’d ever want to meet! The Park is beautiful and convenient on/off from the interstate. It has a huge fenced grassy dog park plus nice grassy RV sites as well. Bathrooms are immaculate. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I highly recommend this RV Park!!
