If I could give them 10 stars I would. Called them at 9:04 p.m. answered and they had spots available, got there around 10 p.m. and there was no issue he came out greeted my wife and I very nicely, and he even had a little helper with, his cat named Luna is the sweetest girl you will ever meet, she adores pets and will roll in the dirt until you give her more attention. We were surprised when he asked, "is this okay for you?" For $10 a night this place is more then okay, especially with the location, view, and amenities. Seems like people have gave him some bad times over the years for not being satisfied, but if they aren't satisfied for $10 a night they can go somewhere else. I mean nice showers come on?! We parked to the left of the gate in the gravel and camped right next to the river. The campers get the best spots/view right next to the river for sure! They have a bathroom just a Porta potty but it's very clean, and they also have a shower for you to use! (It is $1) Not near "homeless" or whatever the negative review said (which by the way VERY disrespectful, and untrue!) It's very beautiful and a nice place to stay. We recommend you at least stay here once on your way through or back home. Thanks for having us Willy & Luna! (Sorry if I spelt your name wrong, but again thank you so much!)
We put our camper over at Memory Bridge every summer for the summer. Michelle & Willy are great hosts as the owners they are and only for 3 yrs. This is the 3rd summer with them but its our 4th for putting the camper over. At that time they were tenets themselves
They have done so many improvements
They now have a shower and laundry facilities for guests at a small fee honor system (not coin slots). They have pot lucks with tenets if they care to join in and they usually supply the meat.
They are just great people in our opinion and as camp hosts and this is only the beginning..
See ya round
Awesome sites. Very nice host. Got in last minute as we were riding through town. Great amenities and small town feel. Clean and beautiful. Will come back next time.
I'm sorry to say that the best thing about this campground is the river view. The owners are very nice and accommodating but the campground looked like a homeless camp (see photos). Maybe they are just too close to the situation to notice all the junk laying around.
There are NO picnic tables at each site, only a couple in a community area. There are no fire rings at the campsites...only one, also in the community area.
They don't have full hook-ups. There is electric, water and you can drain your 'gray' water into a french drain. The hose connector didn't work with our equipment so we just put our hose in the top of the make-shift bucket. If you want to dump your black tank, you'll have to wait for the owner to pump it out for you...that didn't work with our schedule.
This is not a quiet and peaceful campground, roads run on two sides of the property.
It looks like there are a couple of permanent campers staying on the property (in addition to the owners) that have added to the clutter. It wouldn't take much to improve the property. Cleaning up the misc. junk, remove the old worn out solar lights and games, mow and use a weed trimmer.
If you're just looking for a place to stay overnight, this would be ok but I wouldn't recommend Memory Bridge Campground for a multi-day stay.
We tent camped this weekend. Drove from Billings to escape the rain, got in around 6 after a last minute call to find a spot. Willy and his wife are wonderful! We had the first spot on the left, TONS of room and right against the river.
Very gorgeous, if we're ever near Casper we're definitely staying again!
