Lots of garbage at our site. Sites require reservations. Many of the sites we passed were not reserved but had people in them. I'm glad ours was open. Bathrooms were passable. Very quiet and enjoyed our night. Husband did a bike ride and really liked the trails.
Beautiful camping sites we camped on the Strube Loop and it was absolutely quiet Beautiful forest with trails A creek And amazing stars The Nordic Center is at the top Thank you to the county for this beautiful place
Took my grandkids and a dog on a bike ride through the woods. Lots of fun exploring, restroom available, great for a quick mountain top experience with young kids!
Camping is pretty standard here. We had a few issues. We reserved our spot online and when we got there someone had parked their fifth wheel in the spot we had. We luckily found another spot but we were unable to reserve it due to some glitches with the app. Do we were stressed all night that someone else might show up to claim the one we were in. Ruined a good night of sleep 😴 the place could be fun under normal circumstances. We were just unlucky this time.
Breathtaking switch back road to park. Very nice campsites and views.
