The campground is composed of 19 sites in a single loop among a nice stand of mixed conifers and Aspen. It has corrals available outside campground.

Turn left, staying on WY 210, and go 2.1 miles to another Happy Jack Recreation Area sign on FR 719. Turn right onto FR 719 and go 1.1 miles to "Y" intersection. Bear left and go 0.4 miles to campground.
Nice campground with similar amenities to Tie City. This area is wide open and offers good scenery. Newish pit toilets.
Good place to get away from the crowd. It isn't used that much. New vault toilets are a great upgrade. Lots of wildlife in area.
Just what I was looking for, a quiet place to spend the last weekend of summer. Yellow Pine was the perfect place. Loved the way the place has come back to life.
We stayed here September 2022. Warm night and no wind. Unusual for the Laramie Highlands. This campground is one of two in the area and tends to be more exposed but also less buggy and less crowded. Campground was clean including the vault toilets. Black bears are found in the area so no leaving items out or in a tent. No water. No electric. No camp host as it is off season. Nice to see a campground at normal usage which was three occupied sites out of fifteen on a weekday night. Fee for 2022 was $ 10 per night.
Nice little campground, clean and quiet. Has vault clean vault toilets. I stayed here just one night (a thursday) and there were a few other campers in RVs. Woke up to a cow in camp, not a problem this is all range area.
