Gorgeous park with great RV sites! Level and great distance between you and your neighbor! We had mile deer walk right behind our site in the early morning
Beautiful trails, forests, grass fields and waterfalls. Saw lots of single-track bike trails too! Boating, kayaking and water skiing is available here. Plus you can rent a lot of gear. Tent camping and sites for motor homes and campers are well suited for any type of outdoor activities. Great fishing holes. Plenty of restrooms. Awesome visitors center. Minimal (or free) entrance fee. Nice grill sites are here. Awesome State Park. Get outside and enjoy the summer 😎!
This place is gorgeous. First time on Wyoming soil and just picked this place because it was closest hiking trail coming up from Colorado. Best decision I’ve ever made for a hike. I’ll be back and will camp so I can spend a couple of days exploring this place.
What a great little area, nice reservoir, camp spots, beautiful visitor center too. They recently hosted an annual artists weekend during which painters dotted the area to paint vistas of their choosing, (kids could participate too)and then there was an art sale-it was fantastic!
Well maintained park. Roomy sites. They even have kayak rentals. The only drawback is $32 per night with no dump station. Also, there was one inconsiderate camper that had his generator running non-stop.
Update: FYI. The receptionist informed us that they do not enforce the campground rules. If you have an issue, you must contact the local sheriff's department. That's if you have any service.
