Very nice beach on military base, clean. Very close to Oceanside CA, a really nice beach town, shops, restaurants and beach access. Mil base has newly renovated RV park, spaces on beach front are $90 per night and decrease to $65 for 2nd row, showers are available. Nice little cottages for rent, I believe are $120 per night also picnic tables and restrooms.

What a great little area, nice reservoir, camp spots, beautiful visitor center too. They recently hosted an annual artists weekend during which painters dotted the area to paint vistas of their choosing, (kids could participate too)and then there was an art sale-it was fantastic!
