Amazing. wanted to try some place new and this was a pleasant surprise! Very clean and well maintained. Picked a week day and saw few other campers. Very Quiet , except for chirping birds and the occasional sound of animals running through the forest. The night sky was amazing --- never saw so many stars. The morning was a little cooler than we had planned for, but overall a wonderful experience. Planning to stop at Sleep Grass again.

Very nice campground. Quiet, clean restrooms, within driving distance to town.

the camp site is extremely lovely and has nice trails. very calm and peaceful. the restrooms are maintained nicely, and some have sanitizer outside them. (we still bring our own). they have wheelchair accessible sites, and dog friendly. the campsite attendant is nice but can came across a little rude- mainly miss the older gentleman and his wife that were there before. they were very nice and managed the campground differently. we love this campground and will keep coming back.

Get away from the desert. Multiple areas to camp. This area reminds me of the Lake Tahoe area. Cloudcroft is nearby with shops and restaurants. Enjoy the mild weather compared to the flats. Stop at the Sun Spot Observatory and see some interesting telescopes and awesome views of White Sands.

Spent 2 nights here a couple months ago. Pretty scenery, well-maintained and clean. Lots of deer. Probably only 20% occupied. Unfortunately it poured the rain for those two days so tent camping wasn't ideal. Would go back tho.
