No water in the area, but not too far from Bear Dam Lake in Mimbres or Roberts Lake. Nice place for camping out, hiking, or a picnic.

Beautiful place to be. Nice trails for walking or riding a 4 wheeler. Water and restrooms avaliable for those who don't have or didn't bring their own. Dog were brought along also. Plenty of room so your not on top of neighbors.

My favorite campground in the area. The right turn into the campground is a little tight for some larger RVs, but we've seen almost every type here. The gravel road is well maintained and the proximity to the CDT is a bonus. The restrooms were clean and the dumpster was convenient.

the written reviews and photos showing and describing the road there, the campsite spacing, the restrooms, water being available, the terrain and views, price, etc., are very helpful to people reading reviews.

the photos of your family, rigs, cars, fires, hammocks, food, and closeups of bugs and flowers, etc. are not helpful at all for people wanting to know about a campground, or any google map location.

Fantastic and quiet (when we went) it was a Thursday day trip from Deming, spent about 8 hrs there, peaceful, clean restrooms (check them all out first to find the best like we did.). Plenty of quiet sites, but we had the whole place to ourselves practically, so unsure what it's like when it's busy. Sept is the best time up here in my opinion, kids back to school, weeds out the crowd a bit. Always beautiful weather in the Gila this time of year, love love love love the Gila Wilderness.
