Beautiful campsite. I would have given 5 stars but the restroom facility could have been tended to a little better. Otherwise...this is the perfect place to camp if you're in the Lake Santa Rosa, NV area!

Santa Rosa lake state park located 100 miles from Albuquerque, USA. From Santa Rosa camping site the trial is about 1.25 miles. To get it into water you have to travel around 2 miles by car. There is a proper road to drive your car. The lake is quite huge. The private boats are seen in the water. Overall a good place. Very near to the lake, there is a camping facilities. You can spend even nights

Nice campground. The ranger tried to extort us to purchase a $1,000,000 insurance policy for like a hundred and something dollars, which has never happened in all the State Parks I've ever camped in. The insurance company was closed so he said he'd accept cash. I guess he let us slide since we weren't carrying any cash. "Arms up! Give me all your money!!" lol. We don't have any, sorry. Swimming was awesome, the kids had a blast. Beautiful sunsets, just watch out for snakes.

It's just strange to me how statists believe they own the land and are entitled to your earnings whenever they demand it. Other than that very weird incident, 5 stars all the way.

Super peaceful & a very clean camping 🏕 area with restrooms that has showers. The camping areas are dog friendly for the most part I know when reserving our site some spots didn't have the dog option so make sure to select 1 that allows dogs if your wanting to take a dog & as long as it's on a leash at all times you will be fine. Loved that there was an option for sites with electric & water which is always great to have!

Camped here on a Friday night, the camp was peaceful. We walked to the lake and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The picnic tables were covered with side walls to help as a wind break. The bathrooms were clean, and the shower area was a nice size. All the employees we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
