The roads are so well maintained. The views are amazing and the campground is nice, quiet, secluded and with beautiful trees all around.

The grounds are beautiful full of lots of juniper and other spruces. Watch out for cows!

Some sites have some gun shells and broken glass from hunting parties.

So beautiful. Quiet, relaxing. Very clean vault toilets. An easy drive from Belen.

Great little free campground, I visited in August and there was one other person here. The sites have nice deep fire pits that had built in grates to cook on and grates to keep the wood off the ground so you could make a fire even if the bottom of the pit was wet. I know it's typically used by hunters in the fall but it was a nice stop for me along my road trip to Austin.
