Staff was extremely lazy/rude and wouldn’t even respond to my emails. With the exception of the new bathrooms by the office everything about the place is run down and not maintained. Noise rules were not enforced and my neighbors were partying on the other side of my wall at all hours. Only reason I didn’t give a one star is the location is pretty.
Gave it a two-star because the bathrooms were actually nice. Other than that everything was dirty. No maintenance done at this place. Could be nice if they actually did some maintenance. Was there for 5 days and they never emptied the garbage in the dog park. It was overflowing and smelled so bad. There's nothing to do for kids their. It was off season and a pool still had the water in. Was all green. Location was not far from Albuquerque.
This place is a complete dump. Our site had human waste all over the ground. They charge an extra 25.00 for a convenience fee. The place isn’t worth 5.00. No store, everything is run down. Their basketball court has weeds 3 feet tall. Homeless people walking around. Do yourself a bag favor and don’t stay here. I’ve seen way better parks, but NM was extremely disappointing.
Been living here full time for a year now (full time traveling for 5yrs, so we've been to quitea few campgrounds) and we love it! The office staff is amazing! Bathrooms and laundry room are always clean and if a machine breaks they are prompt on getting it fixed! There is a few pot holes but that's not for lack of effort on their end cause i see them working on it frequently (its just the clay dirt that's here that doesn't stay packed plus a ton of turnover traffick). The layout of the campground is very nice and cozy keeping most of the transient at the bottom half close to the entrance and the long term stays at the top! This campground has an amazing mountain view and is located close to tons of gorgeous hiking trails! We are outside the city of alburqurqe by about 25min, close enough for my husbands commute while being a much safer environment for our kids to be in! Lots of wildlife everywhere! Monthly cost is good ($600) especially with free utilities! Highly recommend!!
