Nice campground. Rental camper spots can be tight so hopefully you get good neighbors. Dog park, fishing, pool, playground. Only negative was my site's sewer hookup stuck up about 8 inches out of the ground. Incredibly aggravating fighting several inches of gravity while trying to dump my tanks, otherwise a week well spent
my family and I loved our stay here. we stayed in one of the cabins which has two bunk beds and a full size bed.
just a few things I want to mention for future campers. each cabin has an electric box on the side of the cabin. there is a spigot for running water behind the cabin. during the week it's very quiet, on the weekends it's a little more people. the cabins are pretty close to the bathrooms. the bathrooms are kinda dated but appropriate for camping. it costs .25 for about 10 -12 minutes of nice hot water. the second quarter makes the water get a little too hot. there are also more updated bathrooms a short walk away.
the cabins were clean, bathrooms were clean, not really many bugs considering you're in the woods.
the campground has a nice little cafe with great food and reasonably priced. they also have a little store stocked if you forget anything. they sell ice cream also.
they also have goats, a koi pond, playground and a nice pool. each cabin also has a fire pit and grill.
there is a Walmart close by among other stores.
all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
there's nothing really negative to say about this campground and we'll definitely be back again.
just wanted to mention the seventh day Adventist church down the street. they were very welcoming.
there's also some nice parks nearby.
The site they put my parents at was awful. Right next to the busy road. It was like they were camping in their front yard. The flies were ridiculous - they killed 18 of them in their camper before going to bed last night. Definitely don't recommend.
We really enjoyed this spot. Our cabin sat right on the pond it was perfect for fishing. The cabin was one of the nicest we've stayed in, and everyone was friendly. They had a good amount of activities for the kids to do. You have to pay a quarter to use the shower, which at first was weird to us, but the water is warm, and you get plenty of time to shower, so once we figured that out, it wasn't bad
