So much fun! A few recent low reviews I think lose the concept of being in the middle of nowhere in Lycoming county. If you expect the Ritz version of a small cabin you're doing it wrong.
The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. There is so much to do around the area. My 41' fifth wheel pulled in fine. Full 50amp hookup. The waste pipe wasn't threaded at my site but I've got adapters. They even let me borrow boards to level (don't ever skip the check list!!) side to side.
My mom's cabin had an issue that were fixed almost immediately. I only saw the inside of two cabins but they were all places I'd stay.
I'll go back for sure. Even if just for the carpet ball.
I go up here for karaoke. It has a great atmosphere. Decent food. Sometimes service is a hit or miss.
We loved our little cabin, air-conditioning was on when we got there, it was clean and easy access. We stayed in the fawn cabin, the only drawback was that the fire pit was uphill from the cabin next to it and the folks in that cabin were in a fishbowl. They hung sheets over the windows.. It was quiet and the deer came right up to us while we were sitting at the fire.
We've stayed many times here and it has become our go-to campground. Love the cabins and the people are always sweet and accommodating. Having busy lives, it's nice to have a place to go to relax and reset in the beautiful mountains. Hoping to book another trip soon!!🤗
What a great place! Our cabin was clean. The check in and out process was easy. They have a wonderful tavern / restaurant as well. The food was excellent. The nearby park and creek were just beautiful. Lived the PA grand canyon, about 30 min away, too. We will be back!
