Really enjoyed hiking at San-Lee Park today. We went on the Thoreau Lake and Leopald Lake trails which took us around both lakes with a distance of about 2 miles. You can enjoy a view of the water on the majority of the walk. These trails are appropriate for moderate hiking as there are many tree roots, and the trail is pretty narrow. I would not recommend trying to push a stroller on these trails. The restrooms at the Nature Center were clean. What a nice facility. We'll be back!

Cool park with two WATERFALLS!!! The playground area is built right next to the creek and waterfalls! So Cool! You can walk up the hill too see where the pond/lake is at, and then the run off comes down abs creates two little waterfalls. They’re really beautiful. The playground has rope features to climb on. There are trails back in the woods to walk on and have a nature hike! Nice little park in Sanford! Too bad they have a gate abs actually shut it abs lock it at 5:00PM?!?!?! Kinda strange….

We like visiting this park and bringing the dogs on the shorter trails. It's not the best park I've been to, but it's kept clean and the location is nice! There is a newer little playground area near the front parking lot. The creek running through there is really pretty, especially when the trees are in bloom in the spring.

We still have much more to explore and do here, such as the Nature Center, so I'll likely update my review in the future.

Beautiful park with trails. Areas for fishing and paddle boats. There is an information center as well. Looking forward to go back and explore more.
