About Campground

Eden Oaks Vineyard and Campground is a working vineyard located in the heart of the Swan Creek AVA (American Viticultural Area). We grow a variety of grapes--riesling, muscadine, concord, catawba, niagara, scuppernong, and others.  Also, we have elderberries (Sambucus).  An assortment of vineyards and wineries are located within a few miles.  US Hwy 421 is two miles away and Interstate Hwy 77 is nine miles away.  Eden Oaks is very convenient, easily accessible, and rural.  But, there are many points of interest within a few minutes--Stone Mountain State Park, Pilot Mountain, W. Kerr Scott Dam, Yadkin River and Carter Falls.  We're close to  the towns of Elkin, Wilkesboro, and North Wilkesboro.

Each of our campsites have picnic tables, garbage containers and firepits plus a free bundle of firewood.  Our individual sites accommodate  up to 4 people and the group sites up to 12 people.  There are two RV sites with 50 amp electrical and water hookups.  And, we have 4 tent sites.  A Port-A-John and water are available.  Our free WIFI is accessible on the patio and at the group firepit.

Our son Todd and his fiancee April have Fireside Espresso and offer delicious coffee creations such as espresso, cappuccinco, lattes, and other wonderful drinks.

We also breed and raise Jack A Bee (Beagle and Jack Russell)  puppies.

(Please check out our website edenoaksvineyard.com and our Facebook Eden Oaks Vineyard,)

The Eden Oaks property was a tobacco farm several decades ago.  It's steeped in history.  The tobacco barn, corn crib, smokehouse and stable barns were built in the early 1900's.  The house was built in 1910 and remodeled in 1995.  The springhouse is located on the small spring where past occupants got their drinking water.  Also, another creek runs through the property.

We are a "work in progress."  Our future plans include additional campsites and a dump station for our campers.  Also, we're working on a wine and antique store.

The best central location for camping! Easy access to Wilkesboro and Elkin areas. Whether visiting local vineyards or antique hunting, this is the best place for a base camp. The hot chocolate or latte will get your day started.

Roy and Sandra are two of the nicest people. We stayed here last minute and they fit us in and arranged for power and water for our camper. They even brought by squash tonight. We will be booking here again. The property is beautiful. They have goats too. Lots of space to camp and there's a creek as well. Very cool tobacco Barn on the property with tobacco still hanging inside. What a gem.

Had a great time, spent two night. Accompanied by a pile of wood for a campfire, which Roy came out and helped us out! Also had a coffee trailer in the morning! Very friendly and helpful, truly beautiful place!!
