The mission of Cabin Lake County Park is to serve the citizens of Duplin County and all park visitors by enriching their quality of life through outdoor recreational experiences. This will be accomplished through offering park events and quality customer service.
We provide RV camping, tent with electric camping, standard tent camping, group tent camping, picnic shelter rentals, pedal boat, and canoe rentals. The park also has great fishing, a 2.3-mile hiking trail, and a swimming area that is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day. These are services that are provided to the general public. Reservations for camping and picnic shelter rentals are highly recommended.
Located approximately five miles north of Beulaville on Highway 111.
This is our favorite campground so far. The staff is amazing, it's a smaller campground with only about 12 sites. The lake is very clean and well taken care of. My kids love the movie nights they do on their beach area. Camp sites are big and well shaded. Amazing hidden little gem forsure!
They accept dogs and have a discounts for veterans and seniors. After hours there is a gate that a code is required for access which I think is good. The campground is well set up, I feel safe here. They have showers and bathrooms with operating toilets. The bathroom is a bit cold and there really is no where to set your personal items at while getting ready so stuff drops on the floor alot but other than that it's a wonderful set up! I highly recommend this place.
We camped here two nights and the park is beautiful. Staff are awesome! They brought us firewood and they were great about keeping everything clean. There’s no sewer at the sites and they have a dump station BUT it’s on the wrong side of the road. You have to go “in the out” in order to drive up to it properly. That was the biggest downside. (You could also double up sewer hoses to reach bit the staff just recommended going around the loop the wrong way to line up better.) The sites are short so once our 31’ RV was set up it was hard to park our F-250. Other than those two things, we really enjoyed our stay! The fire pit with flip gate was awesome! The lake is beautiful and the trails are awesome!
Drove through on the way home from Raleigh. This secret gem has hidden under my nose for 30 years. Two restroom buildings, a bathhouse near the tent and RV camping areas. Beautiful lake and scenery. Didn't get to walk the hiking trail but it appears to go all the way around the lake. Lake is electric or paddle only so no noise or speeding boats to disrupt the serenity. RV spots have electric and water hookups. Spaces appear a bit on the small side, but big enough. There's a boat launch too. And playground and beach areas for.kids.
Can't wait to visit!
