Book a stay to count our sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, chickens and geese; there should be about 100! And we offer "Animal Therapy" where you can sit quietly among our animals and just let them come to you!

We offer both tent and RV camping in an empty pasture adjacent to our grazing pasture where you can enjoy our animals in their natural habitat. Or, come up to the barn and get up close and personal with them during an "Animal Therapy" session!

Pitch your tent on the edge of the woods or close by the stream in the woods. If you enjoy quietly watching wildlife, you're in for a treat...this magical portion of the farm provides a forest cover for songbirds, owls, deer, red-tailed hawks, red fox and wild turkey.

We only allow check-ins Friday afternoons with a checkout on Saturday, or Sunday. Weekends are when we open the Farm to visitors (campers and non-campers alike) to visit our animals and our Farm Store with a variety of groceries, supplies, gifts, and critter food in .50/bags so you can feed your choice of animals!

Our farm is an agritourism farm which means we offer events, workshops, and tours to the public for a small fee. Our campers enjoy a reasonable camp fee of $25/night for a maximum of 2 nights. We don't have hookups, so bring a generator if you need it.

While we are dog-friendly, we also observe a dog-free zone, which is any area where we have our animals, so enjoy your leashed pet around the camping area, woods or along our driveway but please do not bring your dog past the gates that lead to our house, chicken yard, farm store, barn or petting zoo.

Our large grassy field can accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers and RVs and we have picnic tables, porta potties and fire rings for each camping party to have their own space.

Went to a 4 year old’s birthday party here and it was GREAT! The kids had a blast. Such a fun place to play, explore, and experience lots of different animals. The ‘bumpy ride’ was their favorite. The ‘farmer lady’ was so kind and flexible, great with the kids.

We booked a room at the bed and breakfast, and booked the camping area for our NC Girl Camper event during Lavender Harvest. Cheryl was an amazing host. The store had really nice gifts. Our desert social was held under the barn shelter where she host events. They served smoked BBQ plates over the weekend and we absolutely loved her beautiful room at the bed and breakfast. We felt safe and had an amazing time. You can reserve a camping spot or a room and enjoy the farm. It has over 100 animals to admire while relaxing on the farm.

I honestly cannot get over how amazing this place is and how wonderful the owner Sheryl and her farm hands are are!! My boyfriend took me here to surprise me for my birthday because I love animals with all of my heart! I was truly surprised! You have the option to do a farm therapy and spend time with the goats, sheep, and the cutest donkey’s (Penny and Paco). And you are also able to purchase feed and spend time with the chickens, mini horses, and barn animals. It was truly a wonderful experience and we truly thank you all for being so friendly. It’s a wonderful part to our community that I know everyone would love! They also have a beautiful mini store with wonderful jams, salsa, peanut butter, ice cream, and refreshments. Please don’t hesitate to go, especially if you are an animal lover or you have kids! It’s a wonderful experience you won’t regret!!

Brookhaven Mill Farm was the *perfect* place for the surprise 40th birthday for my wife! We got lucky with perfect weather in late October, but even if it had rained we would have had plenty of room under the covered area of the Barn Pavilion. We hired a taco truck, and the kids had a blast feeding the animals and riding around on the tractor train. Throughout the whole process Cheryl was fantastic to work with. I cannot recommend Brookhaven Mill Farm highly enough, either for a child's birthday party or for an adult party with tons of kids around.

Brook Haven Mill Farm is an absolute gem, largely thanks to its exceptional owner who is incredibly attentive, educational, and a fantastic host always ready to answer any questions. The farm's little shop is a delightful treasure trove, offering an array of treats like mouthwatering jams, honey, and Coca-Cola served in charming old-fashioned glasses. Additionally, farm-fresh eggs are available for purchase. The shop also caters to your camping or Airbnb needs with bags of animal feed and other essentials. The farm is home to friendly chickens, goats, sheep, and donkeys that can be petted and fed, adding to the unforgettable experience. As if that weren't enough, the farm serves delicious, freshly cooked food made from their own produce, making it a true farm-to-table delight.
