About Campground

Our six-acre solar-powered goat farm is a quiet and peaceful slice of paradise away from the chaos and noise but close to so many places to adventure.

Feed and play with the goats, picnic along our grass-covered brook, hang out around the large fire pit and rejuvenate while being close to the many Smoky and Blue Ridge Mountain activities.

Play with our kids! Goat birthing all summer. Hold and play with our newborns.

We have two custom-built Vanlife/RV pads and four grass tent locations overlooking a small brook in a cleared park-like setting.

Internet is provided by Starlink BUSINESS - high speed, low latency, FAST uploading speeds (20mb+), and great for remote workers. Starlink also provides your WIFI calling on mobile devices.

Nearby are numerous hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls, and other outdoor activities such as tubing, white water rafting, and boating. If you just want to chill, you can check out a local swimming hole.

Directions

Upon arrival stop at the camp store/house for welcome information and site map.

You be lucky if you find this place located off the beaten path in the middle of nowhere...yet in the middle of everything. 15 minutes to Murphy NC. 15 minutes to Blue Ridge. Lake Hiawasee and boat ramp 5 minutes up Candy Mountain Road. Some best white water rafting down Ochoee 10 minutes away. Awesome place in McCayesville, GA River Thunder... Tuberoo tubing down Toccoa in summer.

Stayed in tiny house last Summer but was not up on Google. The owners were still putting place together...putting in RV spaces and Solar. The whole operation is Solar...appreciated the in depth explanation of how it all works by Mr. Scott whom is actually a computer tech geek. Has Starlink...Great WiFi. Which you would not expect out here.

Scott's wife made us eggs n bacon one morning. So good. Fresh...from the chickens that share a fenced pasture with the adorable goats.

The tiny house overlooks this and by the little red barn. No flies, or offensive odors.

Very comfy bed, nice clean sheets. Small kitchen had coffee, tea and all the fixings...

Scott's wife apparently does all cleaning and make sure you get anything you may need.

Over all loved the place. Was only $12.00 more then seedy looking Murphy Motel or Ducktown Inn. Very private here.

Would highly recommend and am looking forward to another visit perhaps this summer.

Nancy and Scott were very accommodating as we got lost due to poor GPS but well worth our extra miles. Goats were awesome and gave lots of snuggles. Learned a lot and bought really good smelling soap.
