First of all Ashley in the office and her crew are the nicest most helpful people on earth! They really are great. The park is super clean very well manicured. Nice laundry facilities. Small pool and hot tub are well kept. We stayed here for a visit to Johnson Space Center, it's a short drive away.
We stayed at this park for a year, and overall, it was a great park. We loved the hospitality we experienced when Sandy and Darryl we're management as well as when Tonya and Levi were working here. Absolutely amazing people, hated to see them all go. We were only around for another month or two when new management and other workers arrived, but they seemed like nice people.
We didn't really use the shower house or the laundry room but they were always clean the few times I did wash our bedding. There was just a weird smell in there always.
They always made sure the pool was clean and ready to go!
The sites are a bit tight, though. We struggled as we have a 5th wheel toy hauler, diesel with a welding bed, and then a suv. Anytime we had ant issues, the grounds keeper at the time (Darryl) always stayed on top of it! We had a few great neighbors as well, so that was always a plus.
Overall the location is good, I would say. Wal-Mart, fast foods, aldis, etc. are all within 5 minutes. There's even 2 adorable boutiques right down the road if you want to do a little shopping for yourself or children. Also, a loaded tea place right beside the boutiques! There are so many things to do all within a few minutes' drive.
Definitely plan to stay here again in the future.🩵
Stayed At the Alvin RV Resort after purchasing our new fifth wheel from a dealer in Alvin. We live about 4 hours away and wanted to use the RV in case we encountered any issues before leaving for home. We had upgraded to a much larger RV than we previously had and requested a space whch would make it easy to back in. This was accommodated and much appreciated. The park is large and was not too busy during our stay. I would agree with a previous reviewer that some the grass does need to fill-in a bit, but being new this will come with time. It is overall excellently maintained. We did encounter an issue with one of our slides on the morning we were scheduled to depart and ended up having to return to the dealer for repairs. This necessitated us having to stay an additional night and we were accommodated right into the same space. The staff here is super friendly and helpful and they live on-site which is a plus. I would recommend this park and will use it personally again as the need arises for us to return to the area.
Really nice and clean place. Pool is really nice and owner keeps it clean! Laundry room is 50/50 sometimes you’ll get a working washer or dryer sometimes not but laundry rooms are always like that. Overall could definitely recommend especially for full timers
I really like this. That being said, there is no industry standard for what makes an rv park a " resort". Yes, there is a small pool and hot tub.( amazing what a website developer can do with a photograph). Laundry.. yes, and no restricted hou. Bath, show house.. under remodeling, but that's OK. Pick up trash at your site, all day long. Very friendly staff. Went out of their way to get 2 sites together for the 2 months we will be here. Leant me a ladder, and even delivered it. Very clean property. Appears to be mostly long term .
Had to do an online background check to make the reservations.. never did that b4.
They have an organized game night Friday night and I think Saturday in the rather small office/ social hall. The owners and staff care about their renters.
Located in a suburban area, with all the needed local stores conveniently situated.
No mobile propane delivery available after covid. Tractor supply is .8 miles away and priced right.
Monthly rate is reasonable, + electricity
