If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful country setting with a nice view, this campground is for you. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for the hospitality Teresa and Mitch! See you again soon.

I discovered this amazing rv campsite while looking for a place to spend the night around 4:30 in the afternoon. They answered the phone promptly, told me they had availability, advised me how the book online and suggested a site that backed up to a creek.

The online booking was very simple. the site is run through GoodSam and was very quick. It is one of the few online reservation systems that lets you book on the day you are reserving.

The drive on Highway 48 West over the Appalachians was absolutely beautiful. It is windy in spots but the road is in good condition and I found the speed indicators for curves to be accurate for my vehicle.

I received texts and calls prior to arrival to make sure that I could find the place. Even though I arrived after hours I was greeted and asked if I needed anything. The owner also drove by as I was setting up to make sure everything was fine and that I didn’t need anything.

The sites are level and well graveled with electric, water and sewer easy to access. They have plenty of room between sites. The sites drain well as I experienced through a torrential storm.

The place is breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. Almost as soon as I arrived I saw deer, birds rabbits and fireflies. I did not experience many mosquitos even though I was next to a creek. The creek is clear and inviting with low banks good for children to explore.

I enjoyed Just Plane Adventures so much I stayed an extra unplanned day.

The owners son runs an onsite RV repair and is knowledgeable, friendly, talented and efficient. I enquired if they would be able to fix leaks in my fresh water system and what day. Ryan was over within the hour, checked out the problems and had them fixed in 45 minutes for a very reasonable price.

I can’t recommend this place enough. It is well worth the hour or so side trip from Riverton, VA near the Shenandoah Dickey Ridge Visitor Center.

This is a relatively small family owned campground nestled in the mountains of West Virginia. Access is easy as it’s only a few miles off of a four lane highway (corridor H, Route 48). The campground is laidback and quiet and offers full hookups and decent WiFi. The owners are super nice and gave me a call before we arrived and told us to proceed straight our site as the office wouldn’t be open due to them doing maintenance. There’s a private airstrip located on site and I went for a ride in one of the aircraft they operate. Highly recommend a flight if it’s in your budget range. Bathroom with showers were nicely maintained. Don’t expect a lot of entertainment extras, come for the peaceful and scenic location.

Quiet small campground with good wifi. Right next to a farm with cows that do their thing, which my kids loved to see.

Check-in was smooth without anyone site. Did have to call and some beneficial information was provided for the bathrooms, but wasn't needed. Much of what you need to know is available in boxes at the office.

Teresa was so nice to us. She greeted us upon arrival, and also texted us specific directions and information prior to our arrival, in case she was otherwise engaged when we arrived. We arrived with a serious RV issue; she immediately set out to help us. She checked on our status several times - she could not have been nicer. Just Plane Adventures has perfectly flat RV sites, with clean surroundings and a picnic table and firepit. If we weren't in propane line crisis, I might have enjoyed the dark sky and peacefulness more. In the morning, we were greated by sunshine and cows mooing. It was a nice, very quiet park.
