This is a relatively small family owned campground nestled in the mountains of West Virginia. Access is easy as it’s only a few miles off of a four lane highway (corridor H, Route 48). The campground is laidback and quiet and offers full hookups and decent WiFi. The owners are super nice and gave me a call before we arrived and told us to proceed straight our site as the office wouldn’t be open due to them doing maintenance. There’s a private airstrip located on site and I went for a ride in one of the aircraft they operate. Highly recommend a flight if it’s in your budget range. Bathroom with showers were nicely maintained. Don’t expect a lot of entertainment extras, come for the peaceful and scenic location.
