The highlights:

- Drive 20 mins into downtown Harpers Ferry for great shops, restaurants, & river kayak/tubing rentals

Enjoy!

The Space:

Our fun-filled, newly-renovated cabin is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families, or groups of friends. Huckleberry Hill is the perfect home base for our Harpers Ferry getaway!

The cabin includes:

- Three large bedrooms (two queen beds and a bunk bed), plus two sleeper sofa chairs in the game room

- A spacious deck for relaxing and grilling

- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing

- Downstairs game room -- foosball table and a smart TV (tons of fun for kids and ___big kids___!)

- Fast, reliable WiFi that's more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls

- Central AC and heat to keep you perfectly comfortable, no matter the weather

- Fully-stocked kitchen with granite counter, dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave

- Open main room with exposed-beam ceiling

We often take our two little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly.

Beyond the cabin itself, the Harpers Ferry area is great for so many reasons -- and Huckleberry Hill is just a short drive to everything. Take in Civil War history in downtown Harpers Ferry, float down the Shenandoah River, go hiking in the woods, or explore the local wineries, breweries, and fantastic restaurants our area has to offer!

One of the best vacations we have gone on! The place was immaculate! The views were breathtaking. The cabin is far bigger in person that it seems online. Everyone had lots of room. The place was in perfect order and the beds were VERY comfortable. We can’t wait to go back again!

The house was very homey; every detail was thought of! Upon arrival, we found that It was very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked, the indoor fireplace was warm and cozy. It’s so quiet and peaceful, yet close to many things to see and do. Everyone we dealt with was so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this home and Mountain Mama…we will definitely be back!

This was the perfect place to enjoy a cabin getaway weekend for my daughter’s 18th birthday. The girls stayed upstairs in the two rooms and bath, and the moms stayed downstairs with our own bath. It was just the right amount of space, and the girls loved the hot tub, with gorgeous night-time views of valley and starry sky.

We drove the 8 min hairpin turn up-mountain way to a connecting trail to the Appalachian trail and hiked one afternoon for several hours. There were gorgeous views overlooking Virginia from the portion of the AT heading south from Shannondale cut through spot.

The spices and kitchen gear made hosting our meals easy. The coffee was a nice touch, and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed the wood stove and gathering spaces outside.

A warning for low riding vehicles- you’ll scrape the bottom of your car maneuvering on the roads and upper parking spot with odd angles, rocks, and logs around. My Subaru Outback was ideal, while my friend’s Camry had some underbelly scrapes. Be cautious.

We stayed 2 nights after Christmas as an escape to relax after the busyness of the holiday season and this was the perfect place! We have 3 kids (9, 7, 4) and they never once said they were bored. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well stocked. The weather wasn’t great during our stay, but it didn’t keep us from enjoying the beautiful view, hot tub, and grounds around the cabin. Indoors, the fireplace kept us warm while we played games, read, and relaxed. The kitchen had everything we needed for a few nice meals. We will definitely book again in the future!

Our experience at this property was unbelievable… the view from the house is spectacular and you can see the river and mountains from nearly every window. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and had everything you could possibly need. The beds were soft and so comfortable. The manager/owner was super responsive and so friendly. We definitely intend to make this our go to Airbnb from now on when we need a quick getaway to the mountains.
