MDC should repair/restore the hiking trails for this conservation area. Also, bring water and mosquito repellent.
One of the nicer boondocking spots I have been to. We stayed at some great, level camping that can fit several of any size rig near a small pond. Serene trails meander through the forest in a loop, trail maps available at the camping area. Saw a very determined tortoise making its way to the water as well as many different birds. The songs of whippoorwills accompanied us as we drifted off to sleep.
