4.25 out of 5 stars.

We stayed for two weeks here to (1) attend a mountain bike race and (2) a stop on our rv travels. It was nice having our campground almost the entire time to practically ourselves. Must have been a good time of year to be there. 😊. I will say they only have one set of a washer and dryer of which I do not recommend as they are in bad shape. Go to Cuba, MO for a nice wash house. But, please note that this is not necessarily their business to have great washers and dryers for campers because this place really focuses on weekend campers, horse back riding, great mountain bike trails and water activities. With that said, they do charge for just about everything meaning even .50 cents for five minutes of hot water for a shower, so be prepared to pay if you stay.

We had a nice stay though and the staff were very accommodating for our delivery of packages of which I am very grateful.

We do recommend for a nice stay and activities.

I always have fun here. The river is a blast. Good rock hunting in this area. Only downside is, and it's not a big one, is whoever takes care of the pool isn't properly trained in pool care. They add too much chlorine/bromine to the water. But at least they are erring in too much and not enough.

Always a great time.

Love being able to order pizza delivery to my RV!

The staff have always been accommodating and friendly.

Had fun with the Halloween celebration.

Great live bands.

Evidently, they have a Legendary breakfast on the weekends. Can't wait to check it out next year!

I’ve had two different experiences at this spot. First was at MO ROOTS music festival. I got to stay in a cabin as I was on tour. Then went back for vacation in 2020 for the week of the 4th of July. This place is perfect. Just remember you are in the middle of the USA and in the back woods of America! You will definitely hear guns being fired. There will be the occasional wondering dog and the army of raccoons! The river is clear as can be until it gets deep then the waters are emerald green! They have many different levels of camping and also have a canoe/kyak camping deal as well.

We rented a very nice cabin for a girls getaway weekday weekend. 3 of my friends rented a cabin and surprised me with it. I had just recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and 3 of my friends took me away for a few days. I had the most relaxing time. I could sit on the deck and watch the horses, pet them. I had a very enjoyable time. The cabins are very nice and clean, the staff is super friendly, the store has lots of supplies and souvenirs. I highly recommend staying here.
