Life On Spokes

The place is nice and beautiful. The staff was amazing. I don’t mind a crowded campsite, but the price for 1 tent was insane. I will not pay that much for 1 night at this place again. Worth the stop, but not worth the price to stay

Great location next to the river. We were biking on the Katy Trail and stopped for a beer and a bite and it and the live music was wonderful.

Good place for picnic or campfire but not very far from City.

The overall environment is 4/10. But u will get a close look of Missouri River. They have a small parking area. One food store. And few picnic tables.

My fiancé and I stopped here after not knowing anything about the area. We were just visiting Columbia from Kansas City on small family business. We decided we really wanted to spend a night just us out with nature, so we started Google searching. After being indecisive, we stopped at a small corner store about 13 minutes from coopers landing with the name Pier in it and asked the lady at the counter for a good camp site. Her recommendation was absolutely spot on! I have never met a more inviting group of hosts at a camp site. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, they had live music and drinks being served and all of the locals were extremely friendly. We ended out night warm by a fire as we watched the sunset over the Missouri River and woke up to just as beautiful of a sunrise. We will definitely be coming back for more!
