Enjoy picturesque camping as it was meant to be - with lots of trees, a babbling creek, fireflies, a campfire under a starlit sky, and all Pull-Thru RV Sites. Located on Historic Route 66, this KOA is less than 1 mile from Six Flags St. Louis and I-44. It's an easy 30 minutes from other St. Louis attractions, including the Gateway Arch, Forest Park, Zoo, Missouri Botanical Garden, City Museum, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, and Grant's Farm. Stay in a Deluxe Cabin or on a Patio RV Site or Premium Tent Site. Kids love all the activities/amenities, such as the heated pool, gem mining station, and new Jumping Pillow. Groups love the pavilion and meeting space with A/C. Pool: May 10 - September 30. Your host: Paul Shepherd.

We froze due to tiny space heater. No hot water. They said let it run…. Didnt work. Mattress was so thin it was like laying on planks of wood. Ice everywhere but nobody put any salt down. We got out of there assp.
This is right next to Six Flags if you're interested, roughly about 28 miles from downtown St Louis. This site has excellent communication (yes I know it's an odd thing to say), but if there are any issues or if something is about to close for the evening they will text you which I find very convenient. My in laws stayed at the cabin which was really fancy. Remember if you are bringing a pet let staff know so they can accommodate you and your cabin. We were there over Veterans Day 2023 and the weather was pretty good just remember to disconnect your hose just in case of overnight freezing. The bathrooms near the store was clean and the showers were also there some stalls might not have good pressure but it gets the job done. I felt the prices at the store was reasonable but there is a gas station about 1 mile away. Overall I will do this again and I'll go to six flags during this time frame this is a must if you're a KOA member
Let’s start with the pros. Nice grounds. Great park and jump pillow for the kids. Well stocked store. We stay at KOAs all over the country and this one is middle of the road. No one spoke to us during our entire stay (could be considered a pro or con). The reason for only 3 stars is the proximity to the busy road and train tracks. You can hear traffic and trains all day and night. Some of the spots could be difficult to navigate with a bigger rig as well. About 30 minutes to St. Louis Arch. 5 minutes to six flags.
