Best place for off season camping. Right on the water, past all the other campgrounds. Owners are great, fast to respond and accommodating for all those crazy people that like to winter float/camp. Most of the other camp grounds are closed for the winter. Get out early in the year and beat the crowds
It's the old One Eyed Willy's place but the new owners have made it a great place and they are super nice and hospitable.
I've been 2 years in a row now and plan to stay there again.
Highly recommend.
My sister and I had a very pleasant stay with our dog. Love that we found a family owned and operated business. Even better they are pet friendly!
We stayed in a dry cabin and brought our camp kitchen. It was very clean and well maintained, the prefect size for us three.
Bathrooms were close by and clean. Our towels were soaked from the float but they were more than happy to provide us with a couple extras. They even had a tie out stake outside which made me wish I remembered to bring my tie out to utilize.
We met the bus at the takeout so it was nice to be able to float back to our car and drive back up to our cabin. There is a shallow gravel bar beach that was just lovely to sit in and cool off before heading back to grill up some grub.
Everyone (from check in to the bus driver to the gents pulling our canoe out of the takeout) was incredibly friendly. You can tell the new owners are really passionate about what they do.
Everything was reasonably priced and they were happy to answer any of our questions.
I can't wait to go back with my whole family. I just know they'll love it as much as we did.
First time here and was impressed with the clean-looking cabins, the whole resort looks nice and is clean. The owners, Ronnie and Michelle, were very hospitable and friendly. Great camping area along the river. Can't wait to come back with my wife.
