At Pettit's, we are first and foremost a canoe rental. We offer campsites for people that are renting canoes from us. We have enough camping areas for the number of canoes that we own. Therefore we do not allow privates or people that are not canoeing with us to camp in our campgrounds. Most of our campgrounds are next to the river with several of the sites having river frontage.

Great place to camp and float ! Awesome staff they really take good care of their campers, best place to camp on the river I have ever been to
Knew night arrival could be after official office closing - informed likely someone there anyway (owner Craig was), and where to use campground if too late. Nicely mowed grounds with plenty of space for the few folks there for Sun/Mon usage, decent hammock tree spacing. Nice to have warm showers and bathroom nearby for after float. Did a non-normal shuttle time since early and only ones ready. Did upper section, so landing where vehicle already was, with showers right there - nice trip!
Floated the upper on a Saturday and lower on a Sunday. These folks did a great job of providing good times for transport and pickup. The canoes that they provided were in good shape. We did not stay at their campgrounds, but plan to next time round. The campsites are right on the river and look amazing. Highly recommend!
We had a great trip. First time back there in 15 years. Owner was very accommodating and loved being right next to the river! We canoed both stretches offered and we had a great time. Saw lots of fish, herons, a juvenile beaver, some otters, a bald eagle and so much more! We'll definitely be back. Thank you Pettit's!
