Amazing view of lake and mountains. Definitely a rustic experience - pit toilets, water way up the hill from us, no showers, etc. Totally worth the $15 we spent! The views can’t be beat and the host was super friendly.

Beautiful setting on good side of Lake San Cristobal. Good sites for both RV and tents. Buy firewood in town as there is none on site. Very friendly camp host. The views are gorgeous and endless. The lake is good for kayaking, SUPs and fishing at the south end. Easy access to the Alpine Loop. Wish I could go back.

Camp host was fabulous! He took us out in the rain to our campsite. Beautiful views! We had a phenomenal site! Bathrooms needed tending to as they smelled horrible but other than that. Great place!

One of my favorite places to camp in the state. Incredible views. Not sure why people on here mention the pit toilet - that's pretty standard in this part of the state. Heck, having a spigot with running water is a luxury!

We've been coming here for 8 years, and always look forward to seeing the campground hosts. I heard they're moving on next year. We'll be sad to see them go.
