The Valley View Hot Springs, owned by the Orient Land Trust, is a unique place where visitors can immerse themselves in nature while connecting personally with OLT's cycle of sustainability. Through their stewardship and contributions, they help preserve the natural resources they so enjoy. Families can learn about and share this delicate eco-sanctuary with their children and pets. The property is entirely clothing optional and exists completely "off the grid", self-sustaining its amazing variety of features including a diverse ecosystem rich with wildlife, birds, bats, and plant life, a series of all natural, body temperature soaking ponds along wilderness trails, geothermally and hydroelectrically heated hot tub, sauna, and village, pure, natural spring fed swimming pool and showers, and all-season camping and rustic accommodations.

This place rocks, too bad there’s nothing really like this where we’re from which is Houston but man is the location beautiful, price can’t be beat and people were so warm and welcoming especially for people who have never been to a clothing optional place like this. Immediately felt comfortable because of the culture they’ve created here at this hot spring. My wife and I want to come here every time we vacation in Colorado.
Good place to soak, swim, and hike as well.
This is my absolute favorite hot spring in Colorado, and possibly in the entire country. It is peaceful, relaxing, and the views are breathtaking. Hiking up to the top pools gives you incredible views of the mountain range. It is a clothing optional spring, but children are allowed with an adult. It is very safe and I have never had a problem with other visitors or staff. Staff is very welcoming and helpful, and gives you an overview of the springs before heading up from the check in building. I will be going back again and again.
one of my very favorite places on planet earth. being at valley view is being fully immersed in nature, peace, and community. such a special gem that is authentic, gorgeous, relaxing, and peaceful. i love visiting alone and with cherished friends. my favorite thing in the world is being in one of the pools late into the night (sometimes all night long till the sun comes up!), sleeping a few hours, having breakfast in the pavilion, and soaking some more. i’ve camped, stayed in the oak house, and the other house up by the entrance. if you’re going for the first time, really read through the website as it has a bunch of helpful info that you’ll want to know.
This is a great place for relaxation. Housing is bring your own TV to a shared house with 6 or more rooms. I enjoyed soaking in the apple hour pool and the unusual sauna. Slept almost 12 hours; unusual. I recommend
Stayed one night in the Aspen cabin. Lovely and warm and well equipped with fridge etc but cooking / making hot drinks was up the little hill in the covered outdoor pavilion kitchen area which just took some logistics. Restrooms and washing up just down the little hill in the communal building (because of winter conditions, water switched off in the pavilion) - so a little bit of running around to stay nourished, but… WORTH IT for the springs themselves. It was idyllic to spend the night and have pool time under the stars. Temperatures varied across the pools and was nice to move between them. Staff very friendly and helpful. Chill vibe, plenty of room off season. Had pools to ourselves some of the time.
