About Campground

Our campsites are well spaced out and private and we have 63 acres of uncrowded hiking trails and nature! Located directly across from Six Flags Darien Lake, Cherry Hill Campground is a traditional campground with free hot showers and flush toilets, horse shoes pits, volleyball, tether ball and a pond for catch & release fishing. Whether you're here for a day trip to spectacular Niagara Falls, beautiful Letchworth State Park, or just chilling out here by your campfire, this will be the getaway you have been looking for. We have a charming little camp store with all the basics (ice, fire starters, firewood, charcoal, soft drinks, snacks, toiletries, & everything you need for S’mores!). Each spacious campsite has a picnic table and firepit. Simple, rustic, and beautiful, Cherry Hill Campground is how camping should be!

Owners are no nonsense kind of people. On top of any issue that might come up. This was my first camping trip in a tent and I can't wait to do it again. I loved the amount of space you have at your site.

We were only looking for a place to pitch a tent for a night on our road trip to the New England states. No complaints at all.

The real story for us was that while they required a $25 cash deposit for site cleanup, we neglected to read the part where the office didn't open up until well after we needed to be on the road again. We emailed the owners regarding the deposit, left our campsite cleaner than we found it, and figured we had a 50/50 chance at seeing that money again. We discovered a check for the deposit in our mail when we returned from the trip, so they get 5 stars for service from us.

Absolutely loved this place. The sites are set apart, and you have your own space. Sites are divided by trees, so you have privacy. The bathrooms and shower were kept very clean. There is a coin-operated washer and dryer on site. The owners and on-site staff are so helpful and friendly. There is a camp store stocked with pretty much anything camping you may need. We were there when it was open mic night. It was so much fun. Plenty of hiking trails. Can not say enough, except we will definitely be back.

Gretchen is so nice, and always there if I needed anything. Each tent site has lots of space! Bathrooms are very close to each spot and are kept very clean. The free music every Saturday night is a great addition for the weekend. Free yoga on Sunday mornings before heading out is perfect, finally! Very quiet and remote, and great if you're attending the concerts at six flags! I love sitting and watching the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels play and eat.

I cannot say enough about the experience at this Campground. We arrived to our lean to “shed” and were pleasantly impressed! The attractive shed had doors and a magnetic screen to deter bugs. The bath house has individual bath and shower “rooms” for privacy; these showers had amazing water pressure. They each had plenty of shelves and, or hooks for convenience. As an added bonus there were washer and dryers available which you pay with quarters, a microwave and an outdoor sink. There were even bird feeders on premise. The ambiance was calm and campsite areas were spacious. There was a pond which we saw kayaks some people had brought. We departed a little earlier than the 9am office opening, and the owner came early to hand us our $25 deposit. Highly recommended for a getaway.
