So first off the other review complaints about the price?! I stay here multiple times a year, and their prices for cabins are on point with KOA and Jellystone prices. You can stay here for a weekend for half the price of most major hotels right now. Most cabins fit 8 people, which you’d need 2 hotel rooms. Also, it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than Disney and Universal, and both of those parks also charge for park admission on top of the facilities you stay in.

We love the campgrounds here. We’ve stayed in the Guest House and Baby Bear cabins multiple times, and every time it’s been great. Also, you get lots of space from neighbors, so you can relax in peace. Beds are on point with most other campgrounds we visit. Inside of these cabins are spacious as is the outside around fire rings. Guest House even has a gas grill to use. They’re always cleaned well too.

Customer service is also great. I called the campground today due to a new promotion for the Fall not working on the app. The customer service representative was nice, took time with me to make my next visit the best it can be, and was able to get me the promotion. Can’t wait to check out the Cabin Village B cabin for the first time! She even gave us one closer to the park, and with a view of the lake. On the app you don’t find out what cabin (in the area you select and pay for) you’re getting until a day or so before you arrive. Also, every time we camp here guest service at the gate are friendly as is the check in staff. Last time we had a key issue, and we were given functional keys right away!

Also, bringing back the laser show and fireworks was a nice touch for the summer! Also, Darien Square is amazing. Love going to the store. Beaver Brother outside bar is always a fun time with nice staff. Love the breakfast and dinner buffets at Beaver Brothers too! If you’re a member you get your discounts there, which leads to cheap dinning! Food is always kept up on, hot, and delicious. With healthy options. Also, everyone is so nice!

Thank you so much Darien for an awesome getaway! Also, thank you for the “spooky”member discount this fall! We always love spending a weekend here for fright fest! So much fun. Darien does a great job with the promotions too. We always book a few weekends when they do deals on Black Friday. And, if you check in on their app periodically they have random deals.

Lastly, during popular concert weekends the camp grounds and hotel do sell out. I ended up waiting too long to try and get a hotel or cabin for Fall Out Boy. Thus, if you’re going to a concert here next summer and you’re thinking of staying here book it sooner than later.

Cabins are cute and quaint, grounds are very clean, staff super friendly.

This was our first vacation of the summer and we truly enjoyed our time there, the cabins are perfect just what is needed and not very large which made it easy to maintain. I would recommend a golf cart makes it easy to get to all the places you need to. The grocery store is cute and has a great selection of items including memorabilia for the park itself. I feel we went during the perfect time Tuesday thru Saturday as it was quite and the park itself was not overly crowded. I highly recommend especially if you are looking for a relaxing time to unwind from daily life.

They had a fun laser light show but was ruined by drunk people loudly cursing and screaming next to my son and a large group of kids... The songs are weird as they transition from a lizzo song to bluey kids show? The camper van we reserved is down right awful. Not only does the bathroom door not close at all but every single shade and blind is broken and ripped so there is no shade from the light. 2 of the beds didn't have a mattress at all on them just ply wood and 1 had a actual mattress while the other 2 just had small yoga mats on plywood leaving an excruciatingly uncomfortable rock hard bed to sleep on. The shower doesn't work and doesn't give hot water so you have to walk 10 min to the public showers and bathroom. The faucet is super leaky in the sink and the stove doesn't ignite. I feel really ripped off and do not think we will ever be coming back. Would give it negative stars if I could...

Great experience overall! We rented a baby bear cabin for two nights - super cute and enough space for our family of 4 and our pup (Thank you for being a pet-friendly campground). Cabin is clean enough, but definitely remember to bring things, such as hand soap, paper towels, bath towels, tablecloth etc. Oh! And a clothesline for your wet stuff. But the camp store has all your needs if you forget anything and was within walking distance from our cabin. We hope to make this a yearly trip :)

I have stayed here 3 times now in 3 different aspects. The 1st was a few years ago and it was "glamping", second was in a cabin, and 3rd was in a tent. I loved all 3. Our tent site was rocky but it was fine. Bring a mallet to put the tent spikes down. Sites are large. We have an 8 person tent and it fit perfectly with space for the truck to fit beside and we had the campfire as well. The kids really enjoyed the stay. We will definitely be back.
