About Campground

Black Hole & Dunkley Falls campsite is located on an 80-acre old Adirondack farm. The Mill Creek runs along with this property, which features access to the scenic Dunkley Falls & The Black Hole — a cavernous geological anomaly. This famous swimming spot is a perfect place to test your nerve with a backflip off its 20 ft cliffs or just take a leisurely swim in the naturally formed glacier pool. Like to fish? The Mill Creek is also stocked annually with over 3000 w/ brown & rainbow trout. All of this is just a short walk from our property. Onsite Outhouse. This camp is a beautifully secluded located at the Gateway to the Adirondacks. This location offers it all, beauty, tranquility, and scenic mountain views of Gore Ski center. Feeling adventurous? The campsite is only 5 miles from the famous towns of North Creek & North River. North River is the host of the Hudson River Whitewater Derby, a nationally known canoe competition. This region features some of the best white-water rafting experiences in the country. Trail hikes up & around Gore mountain offer spectacular views of the high peak region which are some of the highest mountains in the northeast. Come have an adventure weekend or just relax and enjoy one of the most breath-taking spots you’ll ever visit. Did we tell you the Stargazing up here are amazing? Parking. You can drive up to the camp and park but we would prefer you not to make multiple trips back and forth because there are exposed rocks on the path up to the site. Please don't leave food or garbage out. There are wild animals AKA bears in this region. Its best to store everything in your car. What you carry in, you must carry out! Carefully pack up the dome tent (if you used it). please use lime in the outhouse Zip up all tent windows and doors (clasps, too). Clean up after your dog. Clean grill with a brush after use. Linens: Bed is a King Size
