The park is on the south shore of Lake Ontario. Take the Lake Ontario State Parkway to the Hamlin Beach State Park exit
Beautiful beach along beautiful Lake Ontario. We came for a dinner picnic after visiting Seabreeze water park on the way back to town. Nice place to park and enjoy the view, a couple beaches to swim. Next time we might make plans to utilize the campground to enjoy that.
Went there in the Labor Day weekend, and really enjoyed it. Despite the crowd, we were able to find seating and calm, quiet spots.
Make sure to bring your own foods and drink, though!
One of my favorite nearby getaways. I prefer going to the beach during off season when it's not so crowded. The park is a great place to walk the pups and gather my thoughts. Clean bathrooms, plenty of picnic areas and a few small playgrounds for the kiddos.
