We have been camping here many times. We come with multiple other people (sites)
This last trip the price went up almost 50% per night (70 per night). There has been no noticeable improvements to the campground. They charge you for mini golf, and it is completely worn down. They charge you for Wi-Fi (per day , per device) We are most campgrounds included at this price.
We enjoy the campground because of the location and it is quiet. Yet the high cost and all of the added fees along with no one ever answering the phone when you call, it has gotten to where we will start looking for another place for our yearly meet up.
It appears the campground was recently sold so I hope this isn’t another case of a large company coming in, raising the fees and losing the care that made the campground what it was in the first place.
We would be fine paying a higher fee. If there was something there to reflect the reason. There’s plenty of other places at that price point that include all of the creature, comforts and full hook ups.
They were able to accommodate our family with less than 24 hours notice after the campground we planned to stay at screwed up our reservation. Our kids loved the jump pad and the pool and our neighbors were friendly and quiet. My only suggestions are 1) They need to add a second computer for check-ins and purchases at the camp store and 2) They need to better enforce the 5MPH speed limit. Everyone was ignoring it and there were too many kids running around for that to be happening. 4 stars only because there wasn’t anything that really set this campground apart from other private campgrounds.
We spent a night here in late August and had a very nice and quiet night. We had a site near the back and it was surrounded by trees giving a lot of privacy. The grounds are very nicely kept and the staff is beyond attentive and very welcoming and friendly. Our daughter enjoyed the pool very much.
The staff at the camp store was not able to refill our RVs almost empty propane tank (they do sell propane), but gave us directions to a place in town that could. Great service!
We would stay again whenever we are in the area.
