From Hwy 27 & SR 70, take FL 70 E 20.5 mi. Turn R at the caution light (Reservation Rd), go about 15 mi. We are located at the Brighton Trading Post/Gas Station on the right. From US 441 & FL 70, take FL 70 W 16.5 mi. Turn L at caution light (Reservation Rd), go about 15 mi. Turn R at Brighton Trading Post. From US 27 & FL 78 S, take FL 78 N 13 mi. Turn left on Reservation Rd, go about 2.9 mi, located on the R at Brighton Trading Post. From US 441 and SR 78 N, take FL 78 S 21 mi. Turn R on Reservation Rd. Go about 2.9 mi and park is located on the R.
The people were not that friendly that worked there but whatever
Very nice and clean campground, but there is no sign at entrance to let you know where the office is, which is in the back in a cabin. 3" by 3" campground map given to us was unreadable. They moved our site and didn't inform us so we were surprised to find someone in our reserved site. Year round heated pool was locked up and not in use. We could not get a picnic table from them after asking 3 times. Sites are tighter than described. Trading Post and gas station is convenient.
Ask for Clarissa , very nice waitress. All smiles. Hostess yanker not so much. Food was delicious. Great flavor , tasted homemade. Superb chef. Very inexpensive. Great relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back.
Loved our stay here. We had some confusion with where our site was but called the office number and it was stratened out quickly. Nice bathrooms and nice sites they were all concrete with a paver patio. We will definitely be returning!
We stayed at Brighton on site 313 for 4 nights. The campground is very nice and clean. The bathhouses are clean and updated. The sites are concrete and level. There is a very nice camp store and a pool and a pond. We enjoyed our time there. Hit the casino one evening. Played for about 2 or 3 hours. Left a loser but had fun. Not much to do in the area but we’d definitely return. Very quiet and relaxing.
