Located 7 miles from Tampa and 15 miles from Zephyrhills. From I-4: go east to Exit 10 (Mango/Thonotosassa), exit to the left - CR579, and go down 4 miles to Florence Road. Then turn left, and Spanish Main will be on the left side. From I-75: take Fowler Ave. E. Exit (Exit 265), and take Fowler Ave. to US301. Then turn left onto US301 for 2 miles. Spanish Main will be on the right side.
I lived there several years ago. It was privately owned when I purchased a lot model. It was a great place and could truly be called a resort. Once it sold, it turned into a dump. I couldn’t wait to sell and get out of there. So sad to watch it go downhill.
I see that they changed the name of their so called resort but all it is a dirty trailer park, they had to change the name because they had so many bad reviews but to bad that everyone still knows what this disgusting is all about and still writing bad reviews because they experienced this place like me and it was absolutely miserable place, I could barely get through one night at this place and they let people walk their dogs around the place and let them poop in your yard and they have such big over grown trees that even on a sunny day the place is so dark that you have to have lights on, and the people who live there are creepy looking and scary as hell and also have a bunch of ugly looking ducks walking around the place, I wouldn't recommend this place to the most hated person on earth
i live here. the bathrooms are super disgusting and the male bathrooms aren’t even open most of the time. plus they kicked out my neighbors for something stupid and are just inhumane. treat people with kindness
Spanish means definitely last in first place make sure..... YOU. get. The mail because they don't want you to get a important letter from the court because they are going to steal your house no matter what you do to save it you will lose it

Aside from one or two very kind employees, the management is just horrific. It is literally on the main road, and the manager treats you less than human. There was an issue with our site payment, and instead of working things out in a humane way, the management immediately brought up legal and scare tactics, and all before Christmas. This has been an absolutely horrible experience. This is literally only my second bad review in five years. I would not recommend anyone trusting in this resort, it operates much more like a trailer park, you are a number, and they do not treat you with respect. It’s very unfortunate, because some of the people who live here as well as some employees are really amazing people, but the management team is beyond barbaric in the way that they operate.
