Exit 58 on Interstate 4, take Hwy 532 to US 17-92, go south for 4.3 miles park on the left.
Nice CG. friendly people and staff. The Ranger lead us to our site and helped me back in. He knew what he was doing. Very helpful and made sure I knew where all my hookups were. Older Park but there are signs of on-going improvements. Our site was good size and we was parked in sand with an old concrete patio, but we put our rug down and all was good.
Pool was very clean and warm and they use salt water. Restrooms are clean and so are showers.
We are her for 8 days and have enjoyed it. I highly recommend this park.
We paid $46.80 per day. That was with a Good Sam's discount.
I saw another post about someone who was here recently and he thought it was boring. This park is anything but. He unfortunately was here during the off season.
We were here for a season 3 years ago and decided to move here full time the beginning of the year. The people you meet here become your lifetime friends. True sense of community where everyone looks out for and truly cares for one another. There are people that reside here year round, but a good majority that snowbird. Great pool, new bathhouse, continuous updates to the park. The office team handles things in a timely manner. We are close to Disney and a ton more within a short drive. We are right smack in the middle of the state. 2 hour drive to either coast. You can often hear the fireworks going off at Disney and on occasion you can see the rocket that just launched from Cape Canaveral in the far distance. We have Sandhills Cranes, Peacocks, and even ducks. The office is more than happy to give you a cup of Millworms to feed the ducks.
If you are lucky and also able to get a reservation during the busy season, we look forward to meeting you. If it’s during the summer, we stay inside or try to travel ourselves. This is 55+ “active” community. We do have some younger than 55 here. We are not a bunch of old fogies. ;) Definitely give this place a try. But keep in mind that June 1st-October 1st…. It’s just slower, but not dead. We look forward to meeting you! And be sure to stock up on the dog treats if you bring your golf cart. Our fur babies are spoiled here and expects every cart to be well stocked.
Very clean park with nice showers. Absolutely no activities what so ever. Nice community center. Horse shoe pits and shuffle board areas as well as dog park. Streets are very narrow but the pads are huge. Internet is for one device otherwise you pay for internet. Very boring we will not stay here again
Although the facilities are well kept there is no attention to landscaping at all. It's not the prettiest of parks. It's very crowded. There are quite a few, what I would consider, run down rv's/lots. The street lighting is old wood pole street lighting that looks like it's from the 70's with overhead wires running everywhere. It has more of a "trailer park" feel than an "rv resort" feel to me. Coming as a snowbird, my expectations are more towards a vacation feeling park. This feels very much like a park where lots are living in their rvs therefore it doesn't have that vacation/resort feel at all to me. I get the feeling that a good number who do live at the park can't be bothered with their "visitors". This is just my two cents. My expectations were not met at this park.
