Lovely campground mainly for rvs and trailers, but they had a section for tent camping. Very friendly family run camp. It's a place to go if you want to spend a lot of time on the lake. The lake is beautiful and crystal clear.

This place is a hidden gem! I know they don't have much reviews. They don't have to its a word of mouth camground. Brenda, her daughter and Sean her son-in-law take amazing care of their guest. They're friendly and treat you like family as soon as you arrive. They even have a lakeside RV you can rent. The fishing is great! Avoid Balsam Cove at Toddy Pond. It only took us two days to realize it was going to be a nightmare. Thank god branch lake had a great site for us. So glad we moved over.

Very peaceful, friendly owners, campsite feels good, kid friendly with a really nice clear clean beach front. Lots of action on the lake, active wildlife to spend hour to while away and hot showers. Can't get much better than this. Acadia National Park a half hour away.

Pulled into the campground late afternoon on a Thursday. After plugging in our electric, the default on our system shut down the electric because of a faulty "shore ground". Later that night, after dark, I reported it to Shawn (one of the owners). I made it clear that I did NOT want anyone working on outdoor electrical system at night and asked to run our generator. He immediately gave me permission. At 5:00AM the next morning, an electrician made the trip out to the campsite. By 7:00AM it was working perfectly. The following Saturday was a free pancake breakfast, sausage, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, etc., for not just the residents but also some local friends.

These people are wonderful, they treat you like family. Lots of well-mannered kids enjoying the great playground and the swimming area on the lake. The location is prefect to explore Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Ellsworth, Brewer and Bangor Maine. You can certainly find other RV campsites closer to Bar Harbor/Acadia, but you won't find one as friendly, accommodating or better priced. You can pay twice as much to camp and have half the experience, or (if you are very fortunate) you can set up your RV at this wonderful location. A wonderful location for any family.

Spent 3 days tenting with my family. Great lot, even with the thunder shower and rain on the last day. We had a fun time.
