East of Highway 201 at The Forks Plantation. From The Forks, follow Moxie Road east and turn north on Indian Pond Dam Road. Distance is about 6.5 miles.
A quiet oasis well worth a visit. Nice sites with lots of privacy close to the shore and boat launch. Hard to beat!
A wilderness pond in the Maine woods. Came in middle of May and saw a loon near shore. The deer flies were thick as thieves but thankfully I had repellent and a fogger. The campground is kept up and there are bear-proof trash bins.
First time going and we will be back! The camp ground wasn't opened when we went on Mother's Day but the nice lady at the gate let us in to check it out. The dirt road getting there is better then most paved roads and the campsites seemed really cool. I think it would be a great place to bring the family in the Summer.
