About Campground

We are sure you will find a spectacular experience at Cole’s Mine RV Resort and Campground, a newly designed resort for the campers in all of us. While Cole’s Mine is not actually set on an historic mine site, we were inspired to design a themed RV park by our son Cole and his love of camping.

We are a Big Rig Friendly Resort that can accommodate the longest RVs, Motor Coaches, toy haulers, 5th wheels, and travel trailers. All of our campsites include water, sewer and electric service. We offer daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal rates.

Relax or play in our beautiful heated pool. The lagoon-shaped swimming area features waterfalls, mine entrance with mining car, rockscape and ledge. Explore the hidden path to the waterslide and ledge waterfall. Let the sound of water cascading down the rock ledge wash your worries away.

Our Resort offers themed weekends to thrill everyone in the family. Our friendly and personalized service will be waiting to make your family or group’s stay comfortable and enjoyable. Discover why Cole’s Mine RV Resort is the perfect family resort. Cole’s Mine is the ideal, fun-filled summer getaway for family and friends that will keep you coming back, year after year!

Stayed here for four months in 2023, early-June through early-October. It was our first time in Maine and aside from the unseasonably rainy weather, we really enjoyed our stay at the park. Shane, Sonya, and Cole are great! Friendly, helpful, and great hosts. The pool is really nice and they have other activities in the park geared towards kids. There are also activities every weekend for all ages.

Two nice bath houses with separate bathrooms and coin-operated showers. They have walking trails throughout the park which are nice. Most RV sites are back-in (the numbered ones) but are very spacious. They also have pull-thru sites (the lettered ones) that also have plenty of room, although closer together and some don't have any trees for shade.

No WiFi in the park... only at the office/rec room.

Our only drawback (and a minor one, made worse by the weather) was that all the roads and RV spaces are dirt.

All in all... we highly recommend this park. About 50% of the spaces are used by seasonal campers so make reservations early!!

If you stay, we recommend:

- Shain's of Main in Sanford. Lobster rolls and ice cream!

- Acadia National Park. It's a bit of a drive, but a beautiful park.

- Ogunquit Beach. If you're in to the beach scene.

Great place to camp. No tent sites but if you work with management they might let you have one on a site with a camper/RV. Very kid friendly, plenty of activities throughout the season to keep everyone entertained. Cornhole tournaments every Saturday that always have a fair bit of competition. The grass is healthy and green and taken care of by management. The pool is clean and temperature regulated so it's always refreshing no matter the day.

The name drew us in (our son is Cole) but the entire campground will keep us coming back! For those who have read through the negative comments, the people writing them clearly didn’t follow the rules and it is evident in their complaints. The owners don’t try to hide their rules, they just want to maintain a beautiful campground.

Staff were phenomenal. The owner is so sweet, helpful, and full of positive energy; you can tell she loves what she does! Yes, they have rules but it is so that the campground will remain a family place. It’s peaceful, pristine, and the amenities are great for families. Definitely check it out if you are a respectful camper 😉.
