River Run Campground offers a beautiful wilderness campground along the Saco River in Brownfield, Maine.
Secluded, wooded and group sites. Three private swimming beaches. Hot showers, laundry, ice & wood deliveries, Store nearby. Pets welcome. Canoe rentals and shuttle service.
I did not do Business with them, but they seem to be very organized well put together and clean , I just asked where the parking area was for the weekend they were very cordial and informative
We've been camping and canoeing out of River Run for >5 years and I have zero complaints about anything. The campsites are great, they sell firewood and ice on-site, the bathrooms/showers are clean, and the staff are all really friendly and you can tell they love doing what they do.
Their Saco canoeing trips are amazing -- they take you in a shuttle (van) up river with some canoes/kayaks in tow, you canoe back to the campground, then they pick the canoes/kayaks up on the beach where you leave them. It couldn't be easier.
If you're looking for some old school summer camp vibes, definitely consider this place for your next getaway.

We have now gone camping there twice over the past 2 years. The campground is gorgeous and the staff provides incredible service. We had a wonderful stay again this year. But most amazingly, when my car was damaged by a stump on the property, they responded immediately and went above and beyond to help. I wholeheartedly recommend River Run campground.
We as a group have been coming here for years and a couple times we went to elsewhere and made are way back here. We love river run!
