Fantastic location. Wonderful views from the RV area. Each spot has a table and chairs overlooking the water. The spots are mostly close together, but there are not many of them and they are just along one line, so the front and back are wide open spaces. Makes it feel uncramped.

Great beach area with rocks to climb on and a little sand area among the rocks.

Very friendly and helpful owner.

Close to the uncrowded Schoodic section of Acadia National Park. Ferry nearby to Bar Harbor. Everything in town is within walking distance. Love the quiet feel of the town. Nice change of pace. Highly recommend.

You will want to stay extra days, and they won't be available because they book solid. So, just go ahead and book a couple extra; you won't regret it. Truly a hidden gem.

We stayed in Ledgelawn and our son in the boat house. Both were very well appointed, clean, and had everything we needed. The lawns are kept beautifully and the views are outstanding.. The location is perfect as we could hop on the LLBean bus at any time the ferry landed - which we could see from our cottage. We took Pearl's walking tour of the area and it was very informative.. Pearl and Roger are excellent hosts.

We had a great stay at MainStay with Pearl and Roger! You could not beat the view and serenity of their location. We had no problems with our RV hookup, parking our car and our tow Foley. Pearl gave us a complete list of kid friendly restaurants and activities to do near Winter Harbor and also in Acadia. We rode bikes to the Bakery, Chase’s restaurant and the Farmers Market—close enough for our 4 and 6 year old. There is a clean washer and clothesline on property which we used. There is also a full laundry facility just a couple of steps next door. We appreciated the communal fire pit complete with kindling and wood! Also really appreciated the book, magazine and DVD collections.

Would definitely recommend staying at MainStay!

Pearl and Roger were very friendly and welcoming. The cranberry cottage was perfect for our Babymoon. We had clean linens, sheets, and they had travel sized shampoo/soap. Winter Harbor is extremely small and quiet with about 460 from the 2020 Census. Many restaurants close early but there are good options. We took the ferry to Bar Harbor which is wicked crowded and touristy. The Ferry is $18 one way and the last boat back is 5:30 PM and literally next door to their property! The Ferry takes 45 minutes and driving takes 1 hour. The Cottage is almost literary next door to Acadia National Park Schoodic section.

Beautiful small rv park and cottages managed and operated by Pearl and Roger on their property in Winter Harbor. Pearl and Roger make you feel like family. You meet Pearl in her house and sit at the dining room table. She provided excellent information, events, and things to do in the area.

Walking distance to the ferry terminal. The ferry will take you to Bar Harbor.

Check out the Acadia National Park Campground close by. You can rent 🚲 🚴‍♂️ 🚵‍♀️ at the rental bike location close by.

Stunning views of the bay from your RV.
